The heat by radiance reheats our body, but also the walls of the house, which contributes to the general comfort of a soapstone masonry heater. While using the heating by radiance, we restricts the heat difference between the ceiling and the floor, know for the heating by convection (traditional). This heating type reduces the dust accumulations in the house and the humidity in the air remains constant.

The method of functioning of the massonry heater in soapstone is the following one : wood burn and releases heat that climbs in the center of the heater and takes back down on the sides which heats the rock. This one releases next this accumulated heat during 24h with 2 to 3 h of heating. The air enters by the small gate in the bottom and by the top of the window and the smoke is bring outside by the chimney.
